                I'm glad this thread got bumped again. Excellent shots KL, you have a great eye for framing pictures. Tim, I'm curious what are the open aperture shots of? The first looks like some kind of lights, but I can't tell what the 2nd is?

                  I took them all on the highway between Agra and Delhi, India in December, 2007. They're all of passing lights, buildings, cars, etc. I took about 50 shots and then put my dozen favorites on one of my websites: http://www.timboisvert.com

                          The technical aspects of this photo sucked, as I am still learning how to take pictures on manual in order to override the camera defaults and to get what I want. The photo is too blurry and the lines are too smudged. But I liked the composition, so I played with Photoshop to get something interesting.

                            Very cool.

                            Sure there are some sections that aren't that sharp, but the embossing is pretty effective is some areas especially the center. Like it is a ceramic or metal plate with texture with real depth.

                            Very cool.
