I've had that before. It's great! There is an excellent jerky stand on Highway 6 in between Spanish Fork Canyon and Soldier Summit; selling Venison, Elk, Buffalo and traditional Jerky.

The Navajo tacos from the Navajo lady that sells them in front of her house on Geneva Road in Orem.

Breakfast A at the Cougareat........2 eggs, o'brien potatoes, bacon/ham/sausage, 2 pieces of toast....$1.79. I ate this often in my undergrad and law school days.

Winegars. Haven't heard that grocery store in a long time. I used to hit up that deli in Bountiful once or twice a week.

Maglebys fresh all you can eat french toast. For 4.99 you can go to town. But when you get plate 1, immediately order plate 2 and so on, otherwise you are waiting 15-20 minutes between plates.

Another one of my guilty pleasures in Utah.....Gandolfo's Harlem with steak sauce for breakfast.

except I just checked their website and apparently there is now Gandolfo's in SoCal, including one in mission viejo, only 12 minutes away. one less reason to drive to utah. hooray!

I know where I'm eating for breakfast tomorrow.

I didn't know Gandolfo's was ever just a Utah thing. Or is this TIC?
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Yes, it's a Utah thing... For the longest time, the only locations were Provo and SLC.. Now they are all over.

Hmmm...I've always liked them and with their self-proclaimed "New York delicatessen" title, I figured DDD would be first in line to mock them (or mock Utahns for considering a chain a good sandwich shop).

It's a win for Utah too...one less Californian coming here!

I've never liked their bread much.

Biscuits at Ruth's Diner. Whatever you order for breakfast, ask for an extra basket of biscuits and their jelly (it's all homemade). My. Sweet. Lord.

I thought Ruth's Diner closed recently. Is it still around?

And yes, you are correct about the biscuits and jelly.

Ruth's was closed for renovation, but reopened mid-June. I went there the end of June with a bunch of family, so I am pleased to report the biscuits are still at large.
