Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

It’s obvious they are new members. Most members just ask me tax questions in the foyer after church. It’s annoying because I’m not a tax accountant."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

So, Falafel has some friends that got baptized, now they have something to "show him", and now we are discussing ways to deal with faith crises/preferred nomenclature for indians?
Based on what we know, I think the more likely explanation is that Falafel's friends are swingers (as I assume 50% of Vegas is) and they are hoping Falafel will join the lifestyle.

I had a member of the tribe work for me for several years, and until last year the reservation was in our stake so I know many members of the nation through church. I can't swear I have never heard any of them use other terms, but the term they use by far the most is "Indian".

That is from my five years working with 7 federally recognized tribes in California.
