I am calling BS. Unless you find the political climate of Vancouver Island or Montreal moderate, there is no way Sanders would be mainstream conservative up there. He would either live uneasily with the Liberals, or be at home with the NDP.

Ocasio-Cortez would certainly be a fit for the NDP, but optically she would want to be a liberal because they are the cool, beautiful people cocksure they know what's best. Bernie is a classic moderate conservative. Universal healthcare and the myriad social programs in Canada don't exist despite the conservatives, but because the conservatives are complicit in their construct and maintenance.

Trying to steer this thread back into red pill territory, this whole notion that Sanders is a socialist is idiotic. America is a social democracy, and all you voting 'independents' are socialists. Even the card carrying Republicans on this site are socialists. You all need to take the pill and wake up—it will be hard at first to accept reality, but you will be better for it in the long run.

And as for looney: where I live, Sanders qualifies as a moderate conservative. She is definitely left of him and would be considered a liberal. In case you didn’t know they are currently in power here and their carbon tax just took effect raising gas prices. Two weeks ago I was paying $1 a litre, now there are line ups to get it at a $1.16

She is better looking. Bernie has, to his credit, always owned that he is a social democrat. Their politics are very similar. I’m trying to point out that Fox News and the right wing fixation with AOC is about more than just policy.

This is why CNN hates Bernie Standers and the "Center for American Progress" has been "smearing him." There is a major schism in the democratic party, between mainstream liberals and the loony left.
