Yeesh. She is such a knucklehead.

It is crap like that that might give us four more years of Trump.

As I have said before, I don't think she is inherently stupid, but I think she is very young intellectually and certainly not very smart practically. She reminds me of someone who has done well in college in some non-stem topic learning from a bunch of lazy socialist or communist professors and suddenly finds herself in front of all these microphones and just cant wait to show all the really very clever (but ultimately moronic) things she thinks she knows.
        PLesa excuse the tpyos.

          I think she’s just dumb. Occam’s razor.

But the most appalling thing is the press. How many democrats are there in Congress? I think the House added 62. And all the press wants to talk about are the three nitwits. Most of the new democrates are moderates who were elected in traditaionlly moderate or conservative districts in reaction to Trump. JL is right. The democrats are doing their best to blow it when Trump is so beatable.

Lol. A couple old white guys making fun of the brown girl for being dumb. But it’s the media’s fault for giving her attention. No credit can be given to her! So cliche. Reminds me of the smug libs patting themselves on the back as they remind each other that they’re smarter than the billionaire in the Oval Office.

Got news for you two. She has more power and influence than either of you will ever have. She’s a Congresswoman at 28 years old and understands how to turn the national conversation better than anyone in her party, only bested by the President on the other side.

Now I certainly disagree with her on policy, which is disastrous. But I respect her accomplishments and fear her trajectory. She’s not going away and the GOP better figure out a better approach than insults.

Who are you arguing with? I never said I had more power than her. And elsewhere I have lauded her achievement which I think is very impressive for her age. I do not fear HER trajectory at all. She is the symptom, not the disease. Nonetheless, she says incredibly stupid things again and again.

But thanks for giving me the news. You’re always helpful like that.

None of this impresses me. Sorry. Just being honest. Member of the HOR? Not impressed. The only thing I'll say is that she's a creation of those who generate the national conversation. Not vice versa. And they'll ditch her as soon as she stops being a suitable emblem. If people really took her seriously she wouldn't survive saying things like "Good, now we get to keep $3 billion that was going to Amazon."

I agree with your assessment that the failed religion of socialism is our biggest challenge. AOC is a creation of the media, and they will abandon her if she doesn't have staying power or for the newest flavor. But she's in a district, with more than 80% registered Democrats who can stay in office, like Maxine Waters, for life. The socialism wave is what we should fear and anybody who is at the forefront of the wave will be powerful and a concern.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

Biggest challenge to what? Fiscal responsibility?

We've made Islamophobia the cornerstone of our foreign policy for the last two decades and have wasted trillions of dollars on foreign wars. Essentially, the largest welfare system in the world today is run by the Pentagon but yet something BS uttered in the 1970s and a young uppity Latina are our "biggest challenge". Are you sure your parents didn't bribe someone to get you in to law school?

She seems to be a media darling at the moment. But, I don't see her going anywhere anytime soon, except maybe the Senate. Young people dig her, and they are legion.

The media hated Trump, but they could not stop themselves from giving him unbelievable air time. Unbelievably, he became POTUS. When Trump announced his candidacy, a friend expressed his grave concern that he might become president. I assured him that it was highly unlikely that he would.

No dem can get any air time right now because the three freshman hard left wackos get all of the coverage. Does anyone know what Pelosi or Schumer have to say about anything right now? Most of the dem candidates were quick to jump on the AOC green idiocy. Mass shooting in NZ, what did AOC have to say about it. Just because of the coverage they get, these three are actually controlling real power. This is becoming Trump 2.0 and it is scary.
One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.
