I also don't like the group recitation of the themes. I am the Stake Athletic Director (I know what you are thinking, and yes, I manage to do that along with being 1st counselor in the Stake Sunday School Presidency. Wow). The guy before me, who is much more spiritual than I am, and a much better man in general, had the YW recite the YW theme before every game. I put a stop to that.
This year, I am thinking of moving from 2 prayers per game to only 1. We will see if I can pull it off.

I saw most of that Face to Face program.
It felt like watching an Infomercial. I kept waiting for them to show a B/W picture of a frustrated boy scout tangled in tent poles before cutting to smiling kids enjoying the new, better program because they called the number on the screen."More crazy people to Provo go than to any other town in the state."

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Hopefully this one time special evening session is all we need to bump Priesthood session in the fall and not during the final four in the spring anymore.
