I would appreciate NIU turning over the ball here.

You have a coach who won't take the three points when he can and then tries to take the points when you shouldn't ... an offensive coordinator that has the opposing defense on their heals with up tempo, after a big run in their territory and huddles the offense ... after a bye week, the team is clearly not prepared.

It's higher than that. Athletic department doesn't have the resources it needs, it doesn't seem to be a significant priority for the biggies. Also why should Holmoe get a pass?

You think Northern Illinois has more resources than BYU?

I don't think this is about resources. It might be about priority, I suppose. But BYU has the resources to do better against NIU regardless of priorities. (Unless, of course, by "priorities" you mean that BYU is spending their practice time studying the scriptures and praying instead.)

Dang. Beast of a punt by NIU. Sigh.

    Well shit.

We just freaking lost to NIU. At home. Blow it up.

Hate being right all the time.

This offense is no better under Grimes.

BYU is not recruiting the same level of talent.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

What's the fix? If coaching changes need to happen, AD needs to change.

We've got the best athletics department tithing money can buy. We've got a great and spacious building to hold our contests in. What more do the recruits want?

You're correct. The talent isn't there.

So much for protecting LaVell's house. We deserve that creepy mannequin.

Iím not a Ty defender, I think he sucked too. But Grimes has more talent than Ty.

Grimes has had no plan when the rushing game isn't working.

I disagree. The team has sufficient talent to beat NIU.

    Bring on QB #3!

Who's up next? Crichtlow? Hall? Conner? or Romney?

I don't think it's talent. The majority of BYU's starter and probably number 2s had P5 offers. It's something else.

BYU had more yards and more time of possession. However, BYU turned the ball over once - NIU did not - and BYU got field goals instead of touchdowns in the red zone. The back-to-back false starts on the 1st and goal hurt with the one red zone opportunity.
