Not a shocker. But no, she's not worse than Trump, the same who has tabloids blackmail his enemies and pays his his pornstar ex-mistresses hush money or in bed with a foreign adversary.

Let's not bicker over degrees. She is a horrible candidate.

And why do liberals love trains so much. I don’t get it. Why replace airplanes with trains? It’s like they want to go back to the 1800s.
AOC loves trains because the furthest she travels is from Brooklyn to DC. If she were traveling across the entire country, she might look at things a little differently.

As bad as Trump and his ideas are - I can't imagine what would happen to the country if she were able to implement all of hers. Rebuild all of the buildings in the US in the next 10 years? Do away with air travel and presumably build new high speed rail lines everywhere there is currently an airport? Free college education for everyone? Free health care for everyone? Millions of new union jobs? Completely off of fossil fuels and using 100% renewable energy within 10 years? Building out public transportation and electric cars to replace all of the current combustion engines that are going away?

And the "how are going going to do this, how are we going to pay for it?" question is answered with "Hey! We've done hard things before. We build all of the interstate highways, sent a man to the moon, and build 300K airplanes during WWII."

Of course, finally the answer is that it will all be paid for by the federal reserve extending credit. And simply that "sure, it's going to be expensive. But it's an investment in our future."

I'm all for being better stewards of the earth we live on. And I tend to be a relatively optimistic guy. But I don't see us doing away with all of the combustion engines currently under operation and replacing all of the energy plants in the US with renewable energy sources in the next 10 years. That's crazy talk.

Hey, if Elon Musk can launch spaceman driving a tesla to mars then he can build hyperloops to all the major cities of this country!

There’s no justification for voting for Trump. She is better than him. Schultz is better than him, Warren is better than him, Biden is better than him, Sanders is better than him, Booker is better than him, Gary Johnson is better than him.

Frank, have you read the Green New Deal? She makes Bernie Sanders look like Ronald Reagan. Completely bonkers.

                Nuclear is renewable.

                      Actually, I agree.

But in the green new deal, she says not only no new nuclear plants - she's hoping to close the ones currently in operation and replace their production.

So, as I understand it, we're going to run the electricity of the entire nation with wind, solar, geothermal, and hydroelectric. And we're going to do that while also eliminating all combustion engines - so we'll need to not only power homes, businesses, etc, we'll also need to produce enough to recharge all of the electric vehicles and trains.

But maybe that's what you were referring to - the fact that it isn't just renewable energy, it's the "right kind" of renewable energy that she's going to allow.

Ocasio-Cortez cheers as Amazon reportedly reconsiders NY HQ after fierce opposition

Amazon is reconsidering opening part of its second headquarters in New York after fierce opposition from lawmakers, according to a new report. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seemed elated by the news story.

The Washington Post, which is also owned by Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, reported the Seattle-based tech giant is reconsidering the plan and has not leased or purchased any office space for the project. The report cited two people familiar with the company's thinking.

“The question is whether it’s worth it if the politicians in New York don’t want the project, especially with how people in Virginia and Nashville have been so welcoming,” one person familiar with the company’s plans told the Post.

Ocasio-Cortez, who has been extraordinarily negative towards Amazon, which has promised 25,000 jobs and over $27.5 billion in tax revenue in 25 years, tweeted that "everyday people" can "effectively organize against creeping overreach of one of the world’s biggest corporations."

Frank, you don't need too. There's an app you can download that simulates AOC's vision of the future:
