That's nice but how does he feel about BYU football?

He's going to open up new recruiting opportunities in the largely untapped Chinese-American population.

    That made me laugh.

Rumors of a “big announcement” tomorrow morning are being told to my kids by their cousins who have a connection inside the upper level. I’m holding my breath.

Uggh... We now have to listen to boring old HP's in priesthood drone on about anything and everything.

I'm so glad I'm no longer the EQP.

Edit: crap. The presidencies are getting the boot. It's a Nelson's grab bag as to who's coming up with the brass ring when the dust settles.

Sounds like a good change. But I plan on staying in primary/YM forever.

So for us heathens not actually watching P session, what is the actual change?

I like the change, but would have appreciated it more 20 years ago.

HP's and Elders will meet together. All Elders quorum presidencies and high priest group leaders released. Now only one leadership presidency for both HP's and Elders

    Perfect timing for me.

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Unless you are in a calling that requires you to be a high priest, you meet in the EQ. All current EQ and HP leaderships will be released, and new presidencies called.

    No more PEC.

Everyone meets in "Elders Quorum" whether you are an Elder or HP. There will be an EQ presidency, that will preside over the quorum, which will consist of men who are either Elders or HPs. No more HP group leadership. All HP groups leaderships and EQ presidencies have been released and new callings will be extended.

I’ve already texted my bishop volunteering myself and the EQP to team teach primary together.

Wow interesting. Young blood for the high priests.

Primary and YM callings just got more coveted.

What the hell did they increase this thing back to 2 hours?
The crux of what has traumatized us about CUF/CG is that we thought they were our friends. And their identity as BYU fans turned out to be the most important thing to them. What empty lives! What a damning indictment of the LDS Church!

What's funny... and I think I've mentioned it here as well... I've been attending EQ one Sunday a month just because I didn't feel like I knew the Elders very well and I wanted to get to know them. Over the last couple of years I've accomplished my goal and feel a connection with the Elders in my ward.

I had a guy in a previous ward who used to do the same thing except in Young Women's. It didn't work out as well.

This is typically the time when DFU perks up our ears and regales us with an engaging talk... now we have to suffer a lawyer lecturing us.

I'm just waiting for him telling us about how this is going to help combat the gay agenda. I mean he made sure to put the women in their place at the beginning.
