Are you serious? You want to lash out against the judge who is presiding over your divorce? Sounds like a great way to lose custody or get shorted on the division of the assets.

I think Moore only signed (or actually had his clerk stamp and initial) a document to dismiss her divorce case. Don't know the details but I guess Ms. Nelson patched things up with her husband and dropped the divorce or something.

What proof do you have that Roy Moore sexually assaulted women other than hearsay of him cruising the mall?

Roy Moore is a bible-thumping bigot, however. There is plenty proof of that. The dumbass dems need to focus on what they can prove.

How about one of the women's dresses with his DNA on it and maybe a few cigars?

Of course they can prove the bigotry. Sadly in today's Trump-led, corrupted Republican party it's completely irrelevant and even seen as a good thing by many, especially in places like Alabama. You would hope they'd care if the guy is a pedophile, but maybe they don't. Sad! As the drumpster would say.

I bet the notoriety of becoming another star Moore accuser makes the insults and attacks on Ms. Nelson’s character totally worth it. Even trotting out an obviously forged signature is still a risk worth taking.

Nah (NW's being sarcastic) .. I think the following is a good summary of the signature issue: http://www.businessinsider.com/roy-m...nature-2017-11. I think the biggest legit criticism is that Allred is trying to use the yearbook as leverage to get a congressional hearing rather than just move in a straight forward way to verify/check the signature; it's not a good look, and creates a circus undertone. Still, I don't think anything the Moore campaign has responded with should move people's prior about it being real or forged very much. And it's such a small part overall evidence (e.g., the accounts of 9 or so victims at this point)

I seems that Judge Moore's problems are NOT playing well in the Great State of Alabama

A FOX news poll has him down 8, way out of the margin of error for the poll

His opponent is already at 50%

I may be small, but I'm slow.

I am sure a lot of the folks on this site will agree with this take, given the discussions we have had about Trump.

Can’t do that yet. The country needs one serious national party until the libertarians become not crazy.

It's OK, maximus. We need him in the senate just in case he needs to confirm a supreme court vote.

In fairness to Trump he's done things like Moore has been accused of, so he shouldn't be too judgmental.

I'm sure there are some here who would "honor the nomination" because moderate democrats like Doug Jones are vile people.

The race has tightened, which is good. I'm afraid Trump might turn it back into Moore's favor though.

Excellent article in the National Review, of all places, about why voting for people like Moore just for SCOTUS nominations is counter-productive. Here are the last three paragraphs, which sum the argument up pretty well:

Conservatives who want to protect life and preserve liberty must do much, much more than select the right judges, and they can’t sacrifice the larger cultural argument for the sake of any single nomination or series of nominations. “Sexual harassers for the Second Amendment” isn’t a compelling cultural message. If you make vile people your champions, you can’t be surprised if Americans begin to associate the cause with its advocates.

The pro-life movement is among the most successful cultural and religious movements of the last 50 years. In the face of unified opposition from the key elite institutions in the United States — the academy, pop culture, and the courts — it has not only survived, it has thrived. By some measures, the current generation is more pro-life than their parents, and the number of abortions has declined even as the American population has grown, saving millions of lives.

It didn’t make this headway by wrapping its arms around credibly accused sexual predators. Its leaders and volunteers understood that regardless of the state of the law, they could save lives. And so they set about doing just that. Through their grace, their patience, and — most significantly — their love for women and children, they are helping change this nation. Any “ambassador” who is inconsistent with that ethos is a risk. An angry, defiant, and dishonest credibly accused child abuser is a disaster, a walking commercial for the other side. His one vote out of 100 simply isn’t worth the cost.
