She was "still going to church every once in a while" when the LGBT stuff hit the fan. Sounds like a better characterization is that she was already out and decided to stop dabbling in Mormonism over lgbt stuff."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

Being PM of New Zealand is about on par with being senior class president at Alta High School...although kudos to her for beating out all the other qualified candidates....
Also, Good luck to her on tackling climate change"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

She calls capitalism a "blatant failure".
“If you have hundreds of thousands of children living in homes without enough to survive, that’s a blatant failure. What else could you describe it as?”
"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

According to UN figures, there are less than 1 million people in NZ under the age of 16, and yet hundreds of thousands of children can't survive? Unemployment in NZ is at an eight year low of 4.8 percent.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.
Woot
I believe religion has much inherent good and has born many good fruits.
