My best friend, who is an avid Sooner fan, thinks it is a great time for Stoops to step down. Doesn't affect recruiting, plenty of time to get ready for the season, and lets them give this OC a trial run before he gets snatched up by another program and they regret it.
I dont care about it too much, myself. just reporting what I have been told by a boomer sooner type.
Read an article about it earlier today. It talked about his dad having a heart attack or something while coaching a high school game. Apparently he wanted to get out of coaching before it killed him and/or before Oklahoma turned on him.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.
Didnt start watching the game until after seeing this comment. Was somewhat interested in this matchup since we face both teams.
Early on, USU did have some success running the ball. They also played good defense against the run and even got pressure to the Wisconsin QB. His receivers didn't help out much in the first quarter and a half, repeatedly dropping catchable balls. And a botched snap led directly to Aggie points.
Then the rest of the game happened. I think there were 5 different players for Wisconsin who scored their first collegiate TD in that game, including the dude with the 99-yard pick-6.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Wyoming, down 14-3 in the third quarter and with the QB supposedly going at the top of the draft next year punts on 4th and 1 on the Iowa 38 yard line.
What is wrong with some of these coaches? So dumb.
