Boom. Streak over. Now let's end the other streak.

If we end up winning this tournamenr a big reason will be Yoeli's 3 point shooting.

Well, that was not an enjoyable end to the half.

Haws only has 2 turnovers but it feels like more.

We're gonna need more than 4 points from the non-Yoeli, non-Eli players in the second half. 11/30 from the field won't cut it.

We've had some pretty good looks on a lot of the missed shots - the ball just isn't going in - mostly thinking of those 2 3-point attempts by McKay. There have also been several possessions that are pretty much just a mess. Haven't seen the crisp passing from last night leading to interior scoring. Hardnett needs to stop trying to score over the shot blockers. Draw them in with the drive and then dish it to the backside for an easy layup/dunk.

Also, what is the point of having Seljass dribble the ball around the perimeter? He's not a great ball handler - I see more risk there than any real benefit. If they want the ball in his hands, it should be near the bucket or set for the 3 (assuming he remembers how to take and make those).

I'm hoping the guys have enough in reserve to make a push and make my dream come true.

My in depth analysis: byu hoops has two decent to good players and a bunch of nobodies.

dastrup is 10x better than worthington and nixon. he’s clearly not totally in sync in some of the sets but i suspect consistent minutes would have fixed that.

The people who think Dastrup should have played more all season are going to love this.

Well that second half was a bit of a nightmare. Oh well. Think we'll get an NIT bid?

We should make the NIT, especially after beating St. Mary's. our rpi/kenpom/sagarin are in line for an NIT bid. Historically the NIT committee seeds BYU pretty favorably.

Well, it's going to happen. And as long as they're in it I hope they try to win as many as they can. Despite tonight, the SMC win last night was important for the development of the team for next year, assuming we don't have yet another year of massive turnover. I don't think we will this time for the first time in 4-5 years.

The arena was 80% Zags fans, maybe more. I can't believe how well they travel for a conference championship they are almost certain to win. I guess that's the difference between BYU and Gonzaga (well, one difference). We could have filled that stadium just with Vegas-based fans, but barely managed 20%.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
