As I head out the door to lead a PASG meeting, I wonder if we're not beginning to see the effects of what David Foster Wallace prophesied several years ago, summarized eloquently in a video clip SteelBlue posted awhile back that still haunts me. Who needs a genuine human relationship when pleasure is available without nearly the same level of energy or commitment?
