I doubt it. Look at all our other safety transfers who barely play. Some started at P5 schools. Plus he's old. Turns 23 next month and played in just 7 games since 2011. But I hope he proves me wrong.

I liked Lee; thought he was a good recruit when we signed him. But with Chase and Marcus Williams ahead of him I can see why he left (although Marcus will be drafted this year). I don't know about your safety depth after Nacua, but Lee could be a serviceable backup.

They really could use another body or 2 at the position. Nacua graduates, as does backup Eric Takenaka. Hanneman will be back as a senior. Matt Hadley will fight to start at the other spot, and he is also a senior. Zayne Anderson (jr), Tanner Jacobsen (jr) and Sawyer Powell (sr) will also be in the mix. It's possible Troy Warner could play some safety.

It's clear we can use another guy at the spot.

I can't believe how depressed I get when I remember Nacua is outta here. I feel like he just got here! Other great players it definitely felt like four years- like KVN or Nixon. Love his play.

He's a DB and would be a very nice pickup. At one time he was committed to Wazzu. Other offers he has include: Oregon State, Vandy, San Diego State, Colorado, Hawaii, UNLV, San Jose State, and Fresno State.
