      here are some links

Now once the administration takes a little heat from this I wouldn't be surprised if Trump comes back to say it's all fake news because he never said he pressured the DOJ to try to stop the deal, which of course would be another lie from the liar in chief.

I know they are blocking it, but the question is if it is really about CNN or not.

And wasn’t it Democrats that wanted this merger blocked in the first place? Are they now crying foul?

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I wonder how the merger can be justified. It sounds like an HHI increase of more than 100, it concentrates the media industry even more in an already consolidated market. It seems as if Section 4 of the Clayton Act and Section 5 of the FTC Act are implicated. We don't need markets consolidating more than they already are. Bigger does not benefit the consumer.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

I think you're right. According to his website, he's an author, a songwriter, and a poet. http://carrollbryant.blogspot.com/

Here's his response to the reaction on his tweets:

I can't be a republican because I do not believe in god. I can't be a democrat because I am not a POS socialist. So, all I can be is an Independent. Actually, I also subscribe to the "Ancient Alien" theory, too.

Some of these left wing nut-jobs are also saying that I support child molestation. This is not true, and I never did say that. All I said was that if I had to choose between a pedophile or a democrat / socialist, that I would vote for the pedophile.

It doesn't mean I support child molestation nor that I even support pedophiles. If you give me a choice between voting for a murderer and a democrat then I would vote for the murderer. Anything is better than voting for a socialist. I would never, ever, under any circumstance, vote for a democrat. PERIOD!
I'm sure his artistic side is super mellow and empathic.

Yeah, I’ve been laughing at that one all night.

It's like a mash-up between an Onion headline and a SNL skit. I'm waiting for the tweet commenting on the size of the short fat leader's hands.

Also, even the most ardent Trump supporters should be able to admit that the leader of the free world should have better things to do with his time than respond to an insult from a lunatic. Obama was thin-skinned and petty like he was still in high school, which is a step above being thin-skinned and petty like he's in junior high.

I wish Trump were more presidential.

With that said I laughed. It would also be interesting to be a fly on the wall in Ryongsong when Kim Jong-un read the tweet.
