    • Don't judge Ted too harshly. He's really not defending Trump's comments. Remember, his is a higher calling. He's working tirelessly to show us simpletons that no one ever has the moral high ground in the libertarian world.

If Uncle Ted is implying that Trump's comment was in the same moral universe of what Obama said, then Uncle Ted has no credibility whatsoever in terms of moral high ground.

Also, I'm not saying this about Singapore, Japan or even places like Costa Rica. I am saying it about Brazil which apparently doesn't know how to chlorinate a pool and allows rent a cops at gas stations to hold up Olympic Athletes at gun point and then turns it into an international incident when the same athletes, who were just robbed, try to get out of the country.

It's also the exact thing that people in New York and LA have been saying about "flyover country" for years now. Both New Yorkers and Trump are not entirely incorrect on the characterization. Although I think New Yorkers have a far more expansive view of what a shithole is, because while New York in the summer smells like its reality - thousands of hobos.using the steeets and subway stations as their personal toilets - Salt Lake City to them is the shithole.

While taking it as a given that it's completely inappropriate for a President to say this about foreign countries, particularly one like Haiti that stood with his decision to move the embassy to Jerusalem, the far worse aspect of what he said was the inference that people from those countries have a taint to them. In particular, knowing the Indian kids at my high school and how highly they achieved in school and in the rest of their lives, I have absolutely no clue why anyone would want to keep them out.
Proving that most Republican Trump apologists are going to totally miss the point. It's not that he said something derogatory about other countries that have problems.

It's that he is saying we don't want their people to come here LEGALLY or otherwise. Take them out! And he did it in the most vulgar, degrading way completely beneath the dignity of the office. He's saying we shouldn't allow immigrants from these countries because they must also be trash. Not to mention the fact that cutting legal immigration by half and implementing trade policies that would isolate the US economically from the global market is a great recipe for deep recession.

That is what is the problem is.

Having the GOP abandon their morals to support this absolute morally bankrupt president is what makes me hope the GOP burns in hell in November 2018.

Then he should cutting and pasting stuff from Libertarian sources like I did instead of digging up political porn from shady alt-right corners of the interwebs.

Don't you see?!? He is proving his own point. There is no moral high ground!

I am not sure what is up with democrats disclosing what is said (or supposedly said) behind closed doors these days... but it seems it has been happening a lot these days. I guess they all have "bad colds" that is slowing down their mental facilities.

Feinstein blames 'bad cold' for handling of Fusion GPS transcript

Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein seemed to blame a “bad cold” for the controversial way she handled the release of an interview transcript for the co-founder of the firm behind the anti-Trump dossier.

The California senator and top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee drew the ire of committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, earlier this week for publishing the transcript without consulting him.

She told an NBC News reporter that she regrets not speaking to Grassley beforehand, citing her cold as a possible factor.

"The one regret I have is that I should have spoke with Senator Grassley before. And I don't make an excuse but I've had a bad cold and maybe that slowed down my mental facilities a little bit,” she said, according to a tweet from a fellow NBC producer.

I don't think you're remembering this incident quite the way it actually happened.

Jeff Flake just said two different people in the room, one of them a Republican, told him what Trump said before the WP article came out. Do you believe him?

As a member of the altright, Ted has to believe Trump.

What about all those trash fish swimming in the Utah Lake "toilet"? Does that make Provo a #sh*thole?
