Hillary was not worse than Trump. She was shitty, but no one tops that narcissistic geriatric hate machine. You should read Woodward’s book.

You're talking about Trump the person and president, not Trump the candidate.

Hillary was a worse candidate. That's why she lost.

I am guessing she knew about Skateboard Jesus' hacking days... And was wondering how long before it all came out.

BETO O’ROURKE APOLOGIZES FOR WRITING FICTIONAL FANTASIES ABOUT PLOWING OVER CHILDREN WITH A CAR

His comments come after a report Friday revealed O’Rourke wrote prose when he was a teenager describing a scenario in which he would accelerate a car into a group of children while hearing them scream. The report also showed he was a secret member of a hacking group called the “Cult of the Dead Cow,” which focused on showing people how to hack Microsoft computers.

          • Add Kirsten Gillibrand to the list... even after she said she would not.

Gillibrand formally joins crowded field of Democratic presidential candidates

New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand made official what already was well-known Sunday, formally joining the crowded Democratic field of candidates for president in 2020.

"I’m running for president," she tweeted. "Let’s prove that brave wins."

Gillibrand, 52, made the announcement on Twitter with a two-and-a-half- minute campaign video titled "The Brave." She discusses "The Star-Spangled Banner" and urges Americans in "the home of the brave" to support her and her policies.

Gillibrand talks about universal health care, family leave, an end to gun violence, the Green New Deal and campaign finance changes.

              Green New Deal!!!
I hope she keeps calling herself a “young mom.”

At age 52 that makes it seem like she is really totally a normal person and not weird st all.

              • Weird. I thought that she was already in. All these Dem candidates are starting to run together.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I'm about her age and have two kids ages 8 and 5. Sometimes I've heard people refer to me as a "young dad" even though I've never called myself that. But I don't look my age and I can kind of get it when people have said it. I feel like I do understand other parents who have similar aged kids. I know about things like two working parents and the costs of child care, etc. In her case, one of her two kids is 8. Does that literally make her a "young mom?" No, but if the issue is her relateability to other parents with young kids, I would think her economic situation compared to "normal" people is a bigger barrier to understanding everyday folks than is her age. This isn't a defense of her in the least. She's clearly just another vanity candidate who will probably disappear off the radar soon enough. I think her biggest and more important issue is going to be to explain the radical policy position shifts she's gone through over her political career.

Biden despite his age is still the one best positioned to beat Trump.

                            • THE KEY TO WINNING IN 2020 WILL BE PROPERLY EXPLAINING SOCIALISM, SAYS BERNIE SANDERS

Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders believes he and the Democratic Party can win the White House in 2020 by “explaining socialism” to Americans voters.

These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina, where incomes are actually more equal today than they are in the land of Horatio Alger.

You aren’t a young dad and she’s not a young mom. you aren’t in the same position as young parents. You have 15+ years of more work experience than young parents.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
