I'll bet Dwight didn't even attend the meeting where these were discussed and probably didn't even vote in the HOA board elections!Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Does an HOA have the right to enforce rules on the street? I wouldn’t know but I do know our HOA can’t prohibit us from parking on the street but the city rules required parked cars to be moved every so often."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

There only time parking is an issue for us is when we have family in for the holidays. We have our own 2 cars in the garage and two spaces in the driveway. But if there are more than 2 cars from our guests we have to get permission to have them park by the club house overnight. And have to request it every night.

Honestly, I have no idea how you put up with that kind of nonsense. That would drive me insane."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Dang Shrute, how many homes in your HOA? 100s?
I'm HOA presidente of our 16-home neighborhood. I've been the president for almost 20 years (since we moved here) in large part because I don't want a Gladys Kravitz type person taking over. My job is basically to flip burgers (and vegan patties) one weekend out of the year as well as tell one or two of my neighbors "No, we aren't doing that." during our annual HOA meeting. You're actually pretty funny when you aren't being a complete a-hole....so basically like 5% of the time. --Art Vandelay
