Originally posted by falafel View PostI watched this last night and I thought it was really good. Makes me mad that the series doesn't start until 6/24.
However, I can't help feeling like the show is a sort of hacker version of Dexter. The social awkwardness, the voice-over, the contrast between his day job and his secret activities (Dex works for homicide during the day/kills people at night - Elliot does cyber security during the day, hacks people at night). The opening scene with the coffee shop owner was just like Dexter putting the guy on his table, describing to him why he's there. The guy is begging for his life, offering money, but Dexter/Elliot doesn't care about money, he just wants to destroy the guy. Then, of course, there are the trophies.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
