I loved the detectorists and I thought the widow was decent. Really interesting to see a series take place in sub Saharan Africa.

If you want to see a dramatically different personna in a single actor, watch the Detectorists and then watch an episode of Brittania (which isn’t very good, IMO). The tall skinny detectorist is also the chief Druid. Quite a difference.PLesa excuse the tpyos.

In some ways it's better than season 1, though there are a couple of clunky side stories* that get in the way of the plot arc. I doubt this positive view of S2 is shared by the casual viewer, however. I have a feeling the casual TV viewer really liked season 1 and then hated season 2 because it didn't go anywhere. That's not true, but there were a few slow spots that had to be waded through to get to the good stuff. All in all, I think it's one of the best comedies out there right now.
Spoiler for *:Rose's trip to Paris is just a drag and feels so out of place/character and unnecessary. Also, Abe's continuous downward spiral is a bit overdone. Why should I believe that a top-notch mathematician and engineer, whose life is built on stability and probability, is suddenly so emotionally unstable? Both of those storylines detract from the character development we're seeing in Midge, Joel, and Susie.

Running Wilde. Cheesy comedy with Will Arnett and Kerri Russell. Several instances of jokes relating to Arrested Development. I enjoyed it."I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

FTR, I enjoyed all of the Romanoffs episodes, but some were definitely better than others.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
