Portland, ME for the next two days followed by the weekend on Long Island (Westbury) and Manhattan next week.
I have NY covered but this is my first time to Portland. Restaurant recommendations would be welcome. I'm not a big lobster guy but I guess I'm supposed to eat it here?

I love it when a thread comes full circle. As fortune would have it, I'll be in Omaha next week for about 24 hours. Looking forward to eating my first delicious Omaha steak (which will be a contrast to all of the mediocre Omaha steaks from my in-laws' freezer I've eaten over the years. Don't tell my FIL, though. He's convinced that is some top-notch meat). Can anyone recommend a spot?Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

You should sample a Runza while in Omaha. Just to make your trip to Nebraska complete. I am not sure why the locals love those."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.
