Crazy that more people out there aren't willing to donate money to people waiting to inherit millions of dollars.

Bad news: still only at 1/100th of 1% of their goal. On pace to meet the goal in March of 2,326. It's still early, but I'm starting to wonder if they'll get there.

            • Feel free to move this if it fits better elsewhere, but just saw the below trailer for James Franco's new movie "I Am Michael," about a gay activist who, following a health scare and related soul-searching, announced he was no longer gay. Apparently he joined the LDS church, though only briefly, on account of concluding that Mormons "didn't agree with the Bible." He was a sort of spokesperson for the ex-gay movement but supposedly went a bit overboard and has apologized for some of the things he wrote then. My understanding after skimming some articles, anyway. Maybe someone here knows more. Interesting story but sad. I had never heard of him until I saw the trailer (apparently the movie debuted last year but they must now be trying to get it in theaters or VOD or something since it just showed up at the itunes trailer site).

If this is a James Franco movie, Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill can't be far behind. Franco can pull off gay, but no way those other two can pull it off.

                • Rob Graham was indicted by a Clark County grand jury today.

Embattled probate lawyer Robert Graham was indicted Wednesday by a Clark County grand jury in connection with the theft of $2. 1 million from several clients.

He faces three felony counts each of theft and exploitation of an older/vulnerable person and two gross misdemeanor counts of destroying evidence.

Chief Deputy District Attorney J. P. Raman said in court that Graham may have stolen more than $15 million from his clients.
Las Vegas police and the FBI have been jointly investigating the disappearance of the funds.

The indictment centers around $2.1 million in stolen funds from at least three clients, two of whom were elderly and one who was considered “vulnerable,” Raman said in court.

“But this is just the tip of the iceberg,” Raman added. “There will be many, many more victims and much more monetary theft.”

While Graham shuttered his firm, he logged into a corporate drop box and deleted nearly 3,000 files that related to clients, wire transfers and operations, according to the prosecutor.

“He’s facing extremely serious criminal charges — not only what we have on him today, but what we’ll be bringing in the future,” Raman said. “He will obviously be facing significant punishment when he answers to the full scope of the crimes committed.”

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
