For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I taught about the sacrament, and a part of the lesson was on how smells invoke memories. I gave my primary class a bottle of eucalyptus essential oil, and a bottle of lemon-and-orange essential oils mixed together. The final was a chapstick made of 100% coconut oil.

Everyone said the Eucalyptus reminded them of their grandma or grandpa, or both.
Most of the class said that the other oil smelled like lemons, no one could smell the orange.

One little boy closed his eyes, took a huge sniff of the chapstick, and rapturously exclaimed, "Smells like California!"
    I privately agreed.

Ask this question in my gospel doctrine lesson today:

Which future U.S. President attended public school at the Kirtland Temple?

Nobody knew the answer, so I firmly believe that they could say that they learned something today!

    Any guesses?

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

    Hayes or Harrison?

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

Well, I interpreted it to mean future in terms of when the Kirtland Temple was operating as such. Because he hasn't exhibited any powers of prognostication, I didn't know he would be speaking about Pence.

JP nailed it. Garfield. He was well acquainted with early church leaders and was related to one of the apostles.
