Anybody follow this Martinich guy? He's pretty obsessed about church demographics, and it seems like he has some Pelagius-level statistics chops. Anyways, in response to the falling church growth rate, he published his proposals to help the missionary program. It's interesting, though when PFS talked to the managing director of the missionary program about it, he didn't seem too gung ho about his ideas.
And here's a tidbit that some of us discussed a few years back in this thread: the ratio of converts per missionary has fallen to 3.5. It was 6-8 in the 70-80's.
