Unlikely. This may help you stave off any Ferrell withdrawal:

I'm...not sure I wanna see that:

I was excited to see Man of Steel, partly because of the trailer and partly because of Nolan's involvement. But if this trailer is representative of Batman v Superman, it looks like we'll be treated to 2+ hours of wanton destruction, and not much else. Oh, and Jesse Eisenberg as Luthor also. Weird.

    Bold. I like that.

I'll go one step further and predict their coming together will have something to do with defeating Jesse Eisenberg playing the role of Andrew Scott playing the role Moriarty.

Nice! That opening montage of Supes charging the courtroom sheds a bit of light on that weird "Superman v Batman" title. I knew it had to be a rich retelling of the struggles, drama, and battles behind the scenes of that landmark case!

Looking forward to it. The clip reminds me of another Tom Hardy film set in London: RocknRolla.

Google?!?! I was for all practical purposes an only child in the 70s. We had 3.5 channells of television. One of the channels showed the Wonderful World of Disney, on Sunday nights. Do you think I would have to use google to know that Kurt Russell was Dexter Reilly, or that Don Knotts and Tim Conway were the Apple Dumpling Gang? That hurts, that really, really hurts.

My apologies. I think I can relate as I know without a shadow of a doubt that Kurt Russell is Jack Burton.

You described my television history in the 70's perfectly. I stand in solidarity with you.

Hey... Channel 12 (KPTV) had The Flinstones, Star Trek, and Perry Mason - I think it deserves 3/4 of a channel status!

We moved several times growing up. One summer, I was living in Lebanaon (home of the world's largest strawberry pie, not the home of the cedars) and didn't know anyone. I remember watching Perry Mason nearly everyday at 11:00 am. Even as a 10YO I remember thinking, "why are you confessing? Perry, Paul, and Della aren't that good"

Perry Mason is gone now, but for 46 years straight it was on at noon on Channel 12.

I imagine this will be an emotionally draining movie- even knowing the outcome. But this is a fantastic cast.

I saw this with my wife a few weeks ago. I thought it was actually pretty fun. They did a surprisingly good job of combing the original story with the zombie war storyline.

It didn't hurt that the actress that plays Elizabeth Bennett was hot.

I told my wife that it looks like the perfect movie for the two of us to watch.

I went on a double date. The guy from the other couple drives a jacked-up jeep with all sorts of zombie response gear. He loved it.

Probably merits its own thread, but let's put it here for now.

Seems like the "faces I want to punch" thread could work, too. Lots of possibilities for this content!

I am totally stoked for this movie. I make my kids listen to the old sound track on long car trips. A girl in our ward is an extra in the movie. Totally awesome!
