    Come on, that's not a "neighbor's sign."

The Cruz fanboy neighbor lives across the street... They are on their 3rd Cruz sign because someone keeps taking it. The time before I told him to pick up an extra for me and I would try catching Beto on the camera red handed.

Yep. That was my point. I think that's crazy.

But I too think booby traps are funny.

Add a No Tresspassing sign and a Danger High Voltage sign next to the protected sign as a warning.

Here is a build out using a couple of batteries and a 400kV Boost Step-up Power Module High-voltage Generator:

            • This race is looking more and more like the kind of landslide we saw with Wendy Davis and the pink Nikes campaign four years ago.

I don't know if it was Kavanaugh or just that the Republicans are finally getting engaged as they normally do, just not as engaged as early as the liberals who have been raging against President Trump, but polls on the Senate side have drifted towards the R's. In fact I had enough time to do my own "No Toss Ups" on RCP for all the Toss Up House races and the R's actually would have come out with 219 seats - I was surprised by that. I still expect the D's to take the House but I am beginning to believe the R's will expand on their Senate advantage.

One would think giving all that money he has raised and is not willing to share with his fellow Dems (I thought he had some socialism leanings?) he could buy a few votes.

I recently learned we in fact live in a socialist state. I had no idea.

The public schools are funded through the "equalized wealth" system. (It even sounds socialist.) Basically they take all the tax revenue of all the school districts in the state and divide by the total number of public school students in the state. That's the "acceptable" revenue per pupil for any district in the state. Then they make all the districts that exceed that per-pupil revenue return their "excess" local tax revenue to the state so it can be redistributed to other districts.

Crazy, right? That's why property taxes go up every year but you can't figure out what you're paying for. You're paying for a school bus in Sanderson, Texas.

You guys don’t elect Democrats there. It’s to be expected. Despite Cruz having the charm of a colony of fire ants he will win.

Is it there or somewhere else that has Moses as part of the history curriculum?

There will be lots of Ds elected. Just not at the statewide level.

I work with people in West Texas and they hate the Robin Hood law because they give back a lot of money. Their schools also suck because they are way underfunded due to most people paying for private school.

Or a water park in La Joya...

A Texas school district opened a water park - and you paid for it

In mid-spring, as the sun was starting to fade near the Texas border with Mexico, about a dozen teenagers were getting training on CPR among other rules of how to keep children safe while they swam.

"Check for injuries, then call 911," the instructor tells them.

The instructions continue as they prepared for a grand opening at a brand new water park at the time would be coming soon. Now open, the park expects thousands of visitors if for no other reason than the complex cost: a cool $20 million.

It didn't start out at $20 million. The original cost was lower, but the complex includes not just the water park, but a natatorium and planetarium as well.

After all, the complex is educational.

It's owned, operated and paid for by the La Joya Independent School District, a half hour west of McAllen.
