I don't really like Republicans OR Democrats, but I sure have a hard time seeing your point of view regarding Elizabeth Warren. There is no way I could have voted for Hillary, but Elizabeth would have my vote if she ran. She seems pretty reasonable when she visits the various talk shows. Compare her to Nancy Pelosi, for example. Much more likable.

She claims she's native American...doesn't she? People have asked her to prove it and she wont. That makes me believe she is a non-truth speaker.

I want politicians I feel like I can kinda trust. There are very few of them out there anymore.

There are none that want to go through the hell of candidacy. In politics, only cheaters prosper.

Ha, SrN and I agree on something. I would have voted for Warren over Trump and the CIA dude. But Warren is difficult to listen to given her hyperbole. “People will die!!!” should be her unofficial 2020 tagline.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Wait...are you saying she is more hyperbolic than the commander-in-chief? I don't follow Mz. Warren, but I would find that claim hard to believe.

How did you get from my post that I thought she is more hyperbolic than Trump?

Sorry. I guess I read too much into the juxtaposition of these two sentences which hint at a comparison:

He also said he would've voted for Warren OVER Trump - so if you're making comparisons, and he says he hates the hyperbole, then if you're leaping to conclusions you might've jumped to him thinking Trump is more hyperbolic, which is why he would've voted for Elizabeth over him.

At least that's how I interpreted it.

While the vast majority of the individual’s ancestry is European, the results strongly support the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor in the individual’s pedigree, likely in the range of 6-10 generations ago.

6-10 generations ago she might have an ancestor that is native american. Wow, she could actually be related to Pocahontas!

Didn't she claim that she was 1/32nd Indian? Wouldn't that be like 5 generations or less?

I am actually 1/32nd Indian so maybe I should become a member of the Shoshone nation!

It's junk science according to Huckleberry Sanders.

There is so much more to disagree with Warren about. That childish middle school Pocahontas BS is what turns normal people off to politics. But Trump can never let any chance go to appeal to the racist nature of so much of his base.

Per the CNN article the principal chief of the Cherokee Nation, Bill john Baker is 1/32 Cherokee, so you should aspire to more than mere membership.

It's a sign of Trump's limited intellectual gifts (but considerable marketing savvy) that his only consistent attack on Warren is calling her Pocahontas.

He doesn't want to go directly against the socialist stuff (anti-corporation, free college, etc.) because a good portion of his base might actually find those ideas appealing.

And going after her in this case was primarily to feed into the rage of some of his supporters who look at ethnic minorities as unfairly getting more free stuff than they think they do.
