I know RC and Arch have. Anyone else?
I don't know why, but I am getting the bug to try one of these. There are 2 different ones that leave from right near my house : http://www.caltriplecrown.com/schedule.htm
I am thinking that if I can get myself if good shape this summer and keep it through the winter I may try and do some of these next year. The Death Valley Double, Eastern Sierra Double, and White Mountain Double are all possibilities.
I think the hardest thing would be taking in enough calories to sustain. And these are not done for speed, finishing is the goal. Actually, I think the hardest thing would be sitting down during any time the following week. That is a long time to be in the saddle.
