    Right now, I'm focused more on my training for the SoCal Ragnar (which is is 19 days!). When I'm done, I'll turn more attention to Beast & Tough Mudder. Anything short burst, high intensity will help: P90X, Insanity or CrossFit. There typically aren't long distances between the obstacles, even though the total mileage is about 12mi. And, it might be helpful to stick yourself in an icebath to get used to the shock!
