Boogie"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Why would Kawhi, after being The Man in leading two different teams to championships want to play second fiddle to an aging LeBron?
I don't understand his love for Playoff P, though.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Yeah, Kawhi played them. But I think the Lakers did pretty well with their Plan B.If we disagree on something, it's because you're wrong.

Reportedly, he tried (and failed) to convince both Butler and KD to go to the Clippers, with him. (But I can't be sure that's not just sour grapes speculation by Lakers writers).
Yeah, Kawhi played them. But I think the Lakers did pretty well with their Plan B.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

imo, he "played" and hurt toronto the most. the clippers with durant/butler/PG13 were always what he wanted. toronto was always the plan B if he couldn't get another star to join him. by the time he announced his decision, all of the good free agents were history, leaving toronto hanging with no off-season improvements. All toronto did this off-season was lose Kawhi and Danny Green. the lakers, otoh are left with LeBron James and Anthony Davis and were still able to get their top non-Kawhi target in Danny Green.I'm like LeBron James.
