Rick Santorum (please, don't Google his last name) is the funniest not-Romney yet
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
"In conclusion, let me give a shout-out to dirty sex. What a great thing it is" - Northwestcoug
"And you people wonder why you've had extermination orders issued against you." - landpoke
"Can't . . . let . . . foolish statements . . . by . . . BYU fans . . . go . . . unanswered . . . ." - LA Ute
Does the fact that I'm already tired of the "What _ thinks I do" meme say more about me or the meme? I lightly chuckled at the first one I saw (re: SAHMs) but I don't think i've even cracked a smile at the last 4 or 5.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

The "Romney adviser admits Romneycare was model for Obamacare" line in that ad is a real deception. There's a guy named Gruber at MIT who is a Democrat and who provided some advice on Romneycare. He later helped the Democrats and the Obami develop PPACA. He's the source of that "admission."

― W.H. Auden
"God made the angels to show His splendour - as He made animals for innocence and plants for their simplicity. But men and women He made to serve Him wittily, in the tangle of their minds."
-- Robert Bolt, A Man for All Seasons
"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
--Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Birth control is only for people who are having sex outside of marriage.
I did not know that married people don't use birth control - or perhaps they do use birth control when they are having an affair?
Republicans who support Santorum need to sit back and imagine him as the GOP nominee and how he'll be seen by the independent voters whose support he must have to win. Stuff like this will be everywhere.

What are the chances a real candidate gets into the race at this point? I still like Mitt (although I doubt he'll win the primary) and think he could give Obama a run (but not beat him), but seriously the rest of the field was a bunch of clowns. Any chance someone else gets in the race at this point?
I'm starting to think the real contenders are happy to sit on the sideline since there is little chance they would beat the Obama machine in 2012. The chances of unseating the Dems from the presidency in 2016 is much more likely, and they are probably thinking the same.

Matt Lewis of the Daily Caller catches on to the Santy video about how he's gonna use the office of the POTUS to lecture us all on the dangers and eeevils of birth control.

Totally disqualifying stuff, though Lewis is apparently unaware that it's been out there for a while.
Great comment in that thread:
Rick's brand of 'Conservatism' isn't Conservatism at all. It's merely the evangelical version of Statism
