They will get some practice with thread names when BYU and Nebraska open the season in 2015.

I care about Ohio St. because the Buckeyes are a historic football power and are playing very well under UM. I also care about USC and wonder how the Trojans will fare under Sark. For similar reasons I care about OU, Alabama, FSU, Miami, Notre Dame, Texas, and a host of other programs becasue they are part of college football.

Lebowski used the word "provincialism" and I think that word is very fitting. I'm reminded of my college days in Provo when the #1 and #2 teams would be playing. The winner would be scheduled to face another undefeated team in a bowl game for the national championship. This game with the top two teams in the country was a big deal on a national scale. And it got bumped on Utah TV for 7-3 BYU against 5-6 Utah. Perhaps some things are slow to change.

BYU has Michigan on its 2015 schedule in addition to Nebraska. And this after playing Wisconsin in 2013. Perhaps Cougar Nation will wake now that they are scheduling more national games as opposed to regional games and finally decide to "give a crap" about the happenings in the Big 10 and college football.

Impossible. Outside of the Big 10, Ohio State only plays directional schools and MAC teams.

I quickly reviewed the Oregon thread and midway through dabrockster and I got into a pissing match with Nebraska and Ohio St. So we've done our part to pad the post count in the Oregon thread. And it's all the more reason to keep this thread open.

With UM here, you never know.. I can see him wanting to stick it to BYU more and schedule it to beat them again.. Or with his Utah connections get BYU or Utah. Either way, I do not see it out of the realm possibility..

That way anyone can dump any information or thoughts about the teams in the conference in the appropriate thread.

Some people are more easily distracted than others by shiny objects...or neon uniforms. But truth be told, I find Oregon interesting as well. Part of the reason is that I think Nebraska's next HC might very well be Oregon's current OC.

I remember that play. Was on my corner of the end zone where I was sitting. That game was fantastic.. Loud, and fun.. It was a great game.. One of the better ones there.. However, game against Michigan where we won to head off to the NC game against Miami has it beat. That was just crazy electric..
