Let the tally begin.
In less than one month Urban has 1 player arrest and 2 player dismissals from the team.

Interesting read on Urban's 1st meeting with the team. This is more interesting than the whole "No Tweet" topic.
We say “until now” because a source tells us that by far the most-intriguing aspect of the meeting was Meyer telling the players that he believes many of them have a marijuana problem.
“I’m not sure if this was something proven by tests or just something he was told, but (Meyer) told the guys he thought it was a widespread issue on the squad,” the source said. “He warned the guys that smoking weed (or doing any drug) was not going to be tolerated. He stood up there and basically said he knew it was going on and if it didn’t stop, guys would be booted from the program.
I like what he has done. The player arrested is gone along with another one (Tell me DDD: Did Urban kick players off the team in the past??)..
So it looks like he has begun to take the steps needed to clear the team of these issues. As for the arrest. Puhlease.. To lay responsibility of this player on Urban is a little premature..
What I would of disliked is if he would of let it go and continued to status-quo that Tressell had going for these kids.. Which allowed for such behavior to continue and be his downfall..
I have a feeling this may not be the last player kicked off the team but we'll see.. When you have years of Tressell allowing such behaviors to go unchecked it won't be cleansed by 2 players being kicked off but I can only hope...
DDD: Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...
EDIT:
A preview of an interview done of Urban on BTN: Interesting quote I got from this preview was when Urban says, "We may see some former Florida players showing up in the spring at Ohio State to work out"....
That will be interesting...

I could be wrong about this, but something about that guy seems so disingenuous. Its almost as if he went out of his way to talk about his family just to prove to everyone that he isn't abandoning them. It seemed way over the top.
Oh, so you were your son's football coach? Wait, so you just coached him? You actually recorded his every movement? And the refs let you on the field to record his every movement? Wow, father of the year!!

His 2 daughters are off to College (Not home anymore). His Son will be around him on campus etc. So he will see him..
I was shocked when he quit Florida.. Who knows why.. But a year sabatical may have been what he needed to get things straight and jump back into coaching.
BUT.. I think he would not be coaching if THIS job had not come available. I see no other job out there that could of lured him back into coaching. So things worked out well for us and here's hoping he has a great run (However long it is..)..

Armani Reeves is now a Buckeye.. Nice get and I think tOSU getting his teammate may have made that possible..
Reminds me of Troy Smith and Ted Ginn. Both came together even thought Ginn was the prize recruit at the time and Troy Smith had offers elsewhere...

EDIT: Another nice article about Urban and his ability to recruit so well..

This kid verballed back in August and in reality he was not who tOSU wanted but based on the horrible recruiting year at that time, tOSU gave him an offer (Luke Fickell at the time) and he quickly accepted... THIS kid was part of the class WELL before Urban even was discussed as a replacement and Fickell was still talked about as the possible option. Urban more than likely never would of offered this kid a schollie in the first place.
Second, is he coming to Ohio St.?? Urban found out before the news hit and told him he was not welcome and Roger's coach released a state that he was opening up his options to Ohio University, Bowling Green etc.....
First verballed:
http://www.ourhonordefend.com/2011/0...oger-lewis.php
Report he was opening up his options (Says it based on Academic but everyone around C-Bus knows why he is actually looking.. Urban took his schollie away):

Get your shit straight next time DDD... And don't forget that Glass house you live in (BYU gang rape.. Eric Wright of USC (Rape), Hershel Dennis (Drugged girl who was then gang raped).. I could go on..)
