I couldn't find any threads about podcasts and I was looking for some thoughts on what people like, what are CUFfers downloading, what do you subscribing to, etc.

I am in LOVE with the Mohr Stories, the Jay Mohr podcast. I have listened to the first 6 of them and thought they were hilariously entertaining and an interesting look at stand up comedy, which I love.

The other that I am a regular listener of is The Joe Rogan Experience. I think Joe Rogan is one of the most fascinating people to listen to, funny, smart, thought provoking on the most random ideas. Kind of a conspiracy nut, but in the funny way not the crazy way. Talks a lot of UFC which has helped spark my interest there.

I've been listening to Freakenomics Radio here and there. Not too bad. But I am looking for some new podcasts.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I know you hate him, but I enjoy most of Bill Simmons podcasts on the B.S. Report. Every once in a while he does something on pro wrestling or hockey that I skip, but I like most of his stuff.

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I downloaded a couple, but it seemed like they were basically just chapters from the two books. I had already read both so kind of stopped checking it.

Don't regularly listen to Simmons, but I will depending on the guest
Listen to Talking TV with Ryan and Ryan every now and again
Tried listen to the Fire and Ice TV podcast, but Feinberg is just unbearable.
Been listening to Planet Money and The Disciplined Investor a bit lately
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I've listened to the parenting one, the one on family business and the trans-poo-sion and they were all highly entertaining.

I've only read the first book, so I guess the stuff I hadn't heard before may have come from the second book.

How do you not listen to the Ace Rockola (Adam Carolla) the best podcast around? Consistently delivers fantastic comedy.

I listen to him during my drive everyday. Very good stuff.

I also like Mike and Mike's podcast. But by the time I get around listening to it, the sports news is dated.

Filmspotting's already been mentioned, but I also like Sound of Young America (a great interview podcast) and of course This American Life.

Also the guys at my local comic shop do a comics related one called Giant Size Podcast that I usually listen to.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

If anyone is interested in a fun listen I would reccommend Episode 16 of Mohr Stories. http://smodcast.com/episodes/tales-from-the-mound/

Features Jay Mohr talking with Jeremy Guthrie about sports, boy bands and being Mormon. I didn't know Guthrie was LDS or from Oregon so basically a double winner.
