Junior's return today! Silva gets a chance to get his ERA under 10. It is going to be a good day at Safeco.

THE MARINER'S ARE KICKING ASS!! Okay I'll admit it, I know not even enough about MLB anymore to fake it. But if the Mariners start really looking like they're for real I'll bone up.

Just thought I would post this link here too. Jim Caple always does an exceptional job of writing on the Mariners.

King Felix is dealin'! Hopefully he stays healthy this year because he's off to a hot start.

I never became a Ms fan while I was living there, but I'll always root for Felix the cat. Seriously, it's great to see the kid getting it done.

Go M's tonight! I still feel bad my schedule changed and Grace and I won't be there. I will be there in spirit.

                      Hey...wtf? Dodgers, Reds, and Mariners?

As long as there is a good explanation, I am ok with it, I guess.

It would be a one night thing with Gracey to see them in person, plus it is the AL, isn't that like little league? Do you care which local youth team I support?

The AL is funny. You are allowed to sub out your worst hitter and replace him with a very good hitter. It is a very interesting addition to the game of baseball.

Too bad. Such a nice day for a ballgame.

It is a well known fact that the NL is the minor league to the real major league the American League.

C.C. Sabathia is a great example of this in 2008

                              Stats in the AL:
                              ERA+ 116
                              WHIP 1.234
                              K/BB ratio 3.62

                              Stats in the NL:
                              ERA+ 260
                              WHIP 1.003
                              K/BB ratio 5.12
