  • Loved Modern Family last night

As I was watching it, I gave a brief thought of all the Mormons who were too busy being annoyed at the gay parents plotline to enjoy the humor.

It's definitely the funniest show out there right now.

It's good for about two laughs an episode, but overall getting pretty bland.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

That's about all I'm in it for. I wish you could get copies of episodes where she's muted every time she talks, though. That voice is unbearable.

Are you saying that she's a Colombian Fran Drescher?

Every Mormon I've talked to likes the show.

To be fair to myself, I didn't say Mormons don't like the show. I said Mormons are annoyed at the gay stuff in it to enjoy the humor in it. Last night's show had a story arc about the gay parents. My fleeting thought was how there were a lot of Mormons too annoyed at that gay parent concept to really enjoy the humor in that story arc. It was hilarious.

I agree. And this Mormon and his Mormon wife enjoyed it.

My friend who was raised by his gay father and father's partner loves the show, but he still doesn't think gay couples should adopt children.

Last nights Modern Family was really fun. The whole show happened on Clare's laptop as she was sitting in the O'Hare airport. It was really interesting, and just a little funny.

Yep. Just as Grace mentioned above from four years ago, it was good for about two laughs.

My kids have been watching old Modern Family reruns on Netflix or Amazon Prime. I guess it's not cool to like it anymore, but I have to admit that I still enjoy it.

I don't think it's on Netflix. If your kids are streaming it on Amazon, they are paying a few bucks per episode. It might be time to check that Amazon bill.
