Are you talking about a google tv?

Roku's main benefit, IMO, is Netflix. It will stream other online stuff, but none of it was important enough for me to remember what it was.

If you get a google tv, it will stream Netflix already. No need for a Roku.

Not necessarily a google tv, just a tv with pre-loaded apps.

Roku's strength is it will stream HULU.

This is one of the best reasons to want Hulu...

Netflix announces deal to stream CBS content. Not quite sure of the breadth of the content, but regardless its nice to see Netflix adding more content. They now have content from all four major networks.

    http://www.bgr.com/2011/02/23/netfli...-content-deal/

Content covered under the new deal includes the long-running drama, “Medium” and the summer season favorite, “Flashpoint.” Also covered under the agreement are episodes from some of television’s most iconic franchises. Full seasons of sitcom greats “Frasier,” “Family Ties” and “Cheers” will be streaming instantly from Netflix. Episodes from the original “Hawaii Five-0″ are included in the package, as are episodes from all generations of the definitive sci-fi series, “Star Trek,” and the cult favorite, “Twin Peaks.” Installments of ’60s classics, “The Twilight Zone” and “The Andy Griffith Show,” will be available as well.

Watching "South Park: The Imaginationland Trilogy" right now on streaming Netflix. Little bit of language and talk of Eric sucking Cartman's balls, but if that doesn't put you off, I highly recommend.

Not sure about the percentage, but I have been pleasantly surprised with the picture quality for the the HD and SD movies.

"My So-Called Life" is on Instant Netflix. Awesome.

Also, Ken Burns presents "Baseball" and "The Civil War".

I just noticed that most of the TV seasons I had in my Instant queue have now been updated to include every episode available. For example, I had Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 1 and Weeds: Season 1 in my queue, and now I have 144 episodes of the former and about 60 of the latter.

Fans of British comedy should check out That Mitchell and Webb Look, a pretty hilarious sketch comedy show that now has its first three seasons available on Instant.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

Also The Other Guys is on instaflix. I know some of you didn't like that movie, but I enjoyed seeing Samuel L Jackson and The Rock leaping off the building to splat on the pavement. I also liked the scene where Wahlburg refuses to believe that Eva Mendez was Will Ferrell's wife.

I was pleasantly surprised by that show. I would definitely stream it. Thanks!

Please don't ever put Ken Burn's Jazz on instant view. We need as few people as possible watching it. Perhaps, I will check out Ken Burn's Baseball.

Damn, Ken Burn's Jazz is already available on Netflix. Netflix predicts that I would rate Jazz 4.7 stars. Netflix is wrong.

FYI, a mea culpa. Hulu Prime sucks mightily. The Prime content contains far LESS material than the online for-computers-only content. This of course won't make a difference for those of you with Xbox or other computer-based streaming box, but those of us who use Roku and Wii are screwed.

Amazon Premiere rules in terms of content because they have almost EVERYTHING you could ever want, but you have to pay a fee for the individual shows.

Problem Child and Problem Child 2 are both on Netflix. My boys and I had a good time Sunday night watching these fine films.

I though the Roku players worked with Amazon.

They do work with Amazon. I love my Roku. I can stream things directly from my computer or directly from the internet. I just was severely underwhelmed with Hulu Prime.

Netflix on the other hand never fails to impress. My latest streaming vids were the outstanding Kurosawa movies, Rashomon and Seven Samurai. I will watch Yojimbo again this weekend.

I got my wife hooked on Californication. Great stories and great boobs, so we each get to enjoy it. Unfortunately only Season 1 is currently streaming.

One thing that bothers me is I find I have to wait 3-6 hours for the "parental controls" to change from PG to Unlimited, and back. Neither Wii nor Roku have built-in content filters, and I don't want my young kids to watch of the coarser stuff available on Netflix...

For the petrol heads out there, I noticed last week that there's a lot more Top Gear episodes available to stream than there were several months ago.

Noticed that too. I've really fallen in love with Top Gear this year, such a great show.

I just wanted to give a big ups to Netflix. The amount of streaming content is off the charts, especially in TV. Full series of so many shows are available to stream right now. For instance the entire series of 24 is now available, I never watched an episode. The value has never been greater.

Netflix just inked a $100M deal to include Miramax movies in its instant streaming library.

The movie streaming service has tied the knot with Miramax on a multi-year agreement to allow streaming of films from the latter's extensive library. Pulp Fiction, The English Patient, Kill Bill, and hundreds of others will be added to the Netflix Watch Instantly catalog on a rotating basis, starting next month.

    Default Larry Sanders Show

Every single episode of The Larry Sanders Show is now streaming on Netflix. Check it out if you've never seen it as it's one of the greatest comedy series of all time. It follows the behind-the-scenes workings of a late night talk show, with Garry Shandling as the self-centered, insecure host, Jeffrey Tambor as his inept, shamelessly self-promoting sidekick and Rip Torn as his gruff, ball-busting, brilliantly profane producer.

On top of that, the show is the genesis for a ton of great comedy that came afterward as it featured early work by creators like Peter Tolan, who went on to create Rescue Me, Paul Simms (Newsradio) and Jud Apatow (Freaks and Geeks, Knocked Up, 90% of the past decade's funny movies). On top of that, the cast featured Janeane Garofalo, Bob Odenkirk, Jeremy Piven (pre-hair plugs) and a ton of other greats.

Since school ended my 5-year-old has been watching Liberty's Kids on Netflix. It's a ~2002 cartoon following 3 fictional kids as the American Revolution takes place. She really looks forward to it each day and had a much better understanding of Independence Day. There are 40 episodes and she watches a couple each day so it's keeping her busy for a while.

I highly recommend it for anyone with kids.
I have nothing else to say at this time.
