Spoiler for Fixed it for you:
My favorite part with her was when her sister died, and Edith asked her if she thought since their sister had died, if they would be closer going forward, and Mary was like "No, I don't think so."

Edit: I guess that didn't work real well. No idea what the crap i'm doing wrong.

    Quick Question.

Would you rather be married to Mary or Edith?

    I thought so.

She was in a romantic drama co-starring Colin Firth, but otherwise, I don't recall seeing her.

That was one of the worst shows I've ever seen 1/3 of.

I never thought she was a very good actress. and she has been ably replaced by "Cousin Rose."

It's like when the older brother left Bonanza. Sure, decades later he had a decent run in another series, but he never really matched what would have been if he'd stayed on Bonanza.

Or, they could just stay on Downton Abbey and take roles on the side. Lily James doesn't appear to be doing too badly. She's the new Cinderella in Disney's reboot movie, and stars opposite Bradley Cooper and Jamie Dornan in the new John Wells movie. She's also in the new War and Peace coming out, and in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Has she done anything interesting since Matthew died? That's when I quit on the show, and all I remember about her is that she's hot and loved making the stodgy older generation mildly scandalized.

I cried during the Carson/Hughes engagement, and had to replay it to make sure I didn't miss anything.

That was very nice and, along with my moniker's conversation with Edith and the usual banter from the old lady who likes like a chicken, helped offset the tiresomeness of the Bates murder story. Enough of that already.

They should start a spin-off series based on the Bates murder accusations. Carry on for another nine seasons or so.

Unfortunately, only one more season of the chicken lady. http://variety.com/2015/tv/news/magg...on-1201444202/

    Great quote:

“They say this is the last one, and I can’t see how it could go on,” she said. “I mean, I certainly can’t keep going. To my knowledge, I must be 110 by now. We’re into the late 1920s.”
They should just shut this thing down after next season.

I thought the plan was to be done after next year.

They're hemorrhaging characters with Tom, Rose, and Atticus going to the US. They have plenty to work with for the next year, but it would probably be best to go out on top and not drag it out.

What an awesome movie idea. I can't wait.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I hope we get to see Tom and little Sibby at Fenway Park next season.
