Spoiler for Fixed it for you:
My favorite part with her was when her sister died, and Edith asked her if she thought since their sister had died, if they would be closer going forward, and Mary was like "No, I don't think so."

Edit: I guess that didn't work real well. No idea what the crap i'm doing wrong.

    Quick Question.

Would you rather be married to Mary or Edith?

    I thought so.

SO how's the actress that played Sybil doing? I don't recall seeing her in any stuff lately, although she may be big across the pond, I suppose. Anyone know?

She was in a romantic drama co-starring Colin Firth, but otherwise, I don't recall seeing her.

I never thought she was a very good actress. and she has been ably replaced by "Cousin Rose."

It's like when the older brother left Bonanza. Sure, decades later he had a decent run in another series, but he never really matched what would have been if he'd stayed on Bonanza.

Or, they could just stay on Downton Abbey and take roles on the side. Lily James doesn't appear to be doing too badly. She's the new Cinderella in Disney's reboot movie, and stars opposite Bradley Cooper and Jamie Dornan in the new John Wells movie. She's also in the new War and Peace coming out, and in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Has she done anything interesting since Matthew died? That's when I quit on the show, and all I remember about her is that she's hot and loved making the stodgy older generation mildly scandalized.

I cried during the Carson/Hughes engagement, and had to replay it to make sure I didn't miss anything.

That was very nice and, along with my moniker's conversation with Edith and the usual banter from the old lady who likes like a chicken, helped offset the tiresomeness of the Bates murder story. Enough of that already.

They should start a spin-off series based on the Bates murder accusations. Carry on for another nine seasons or so.

    Great quote:

“They say this is the last one, and I can’t see how it could go on,” she said. “I mean, I certainly can’t keep going. To my knowledge, I must be 110 by now. We’re into the late 1920s.”
They should just shut this thing down after next season.

I thought the plan was to be done after next year.

They're hemorrhaging characters with Tom, Rose, and Atticus going to the US. They have plenty to work with for the next year, but it would probably be best to go out on top and not drag it out.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Anyone else watching the last season? You can stream the episodes on demand for a month after they play if you're vpn'd in to the UK.
I don't like Congress. In fact, I hate them. I hate everything about them. I hate their House, I hate their Senate, I hate everything.... I think the whole Congress, their Senate and their House, is classless. They threw beer on my family and stuff last year, and they did a whole bunch of nasty things, and I don't respect them, and they deserve to lose.

For those that like Downton Abbey, I'm wondering if you watched Poldark. For some reason, it didn't record on my DVR even though my wife has Masterpiece recording. I'm not sure what happened.

Anyway, Cornwall looks awesome. What a beautiful place. I have ancestors that came from there. In fact my paternal great great grandfather was born in Cornwall and came to Utah not because he was LDS, but because he was involved with mining.

I also want to say that my great great grandfather looked exactly like Aidan Turner and I'm the spitting image of him.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Never watched it. I was able to spend a day down in Cornwall several years ago. Gorgeous area.

The show lays it on thick with that actor riding the horse all over the Cornish countryside with his woman. Be on your best behavior or your wife will look upon you with disappointment in contrast.

In all seriousness, the Bond producers need to give serious consideration to the actor that plays Poldark to be the next Bond. He's Irish, but does English really well. Connery never really hid his Scottishness and Brosnan was Irish.
