• One thing I've never figured out about the Harline TD

Where the heck was the DB or LB who was supposed to cover the guy? How do you leave a receiver standing all by himself in the endzone at a time like that?

I'll expect to know the answer to those questions at about the same time we know the identity of Jack the Ripper.

Or maybe it was George W. Bush's fault. Most things are, you know.

Today on the radio they said it was Weddles man but Weddle saw Zac Collie streaking across the back of the endzone the other way and lost track of Harline so he went with Collie. Although I have heard several times that it was Bradys man.

Also, Joe Jiannoni left the endzone to rush Beck...leaving one less defender in the endzone...although I think that there were still 9 or so there and someone should've been able to see the best and most reliable receiver on the team wide open. I know I would've.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

It looks like the guy covering him at the very beginning of the play stays in his zone. Harline cuts across the back of the endzone, and he stays put. The man who rushes beck comes in from about the "T", and the Ute defender closer to the sideline fills in the void he left behind. Motion to the right leaves the spot open. Caught for the touchdown. Caught for the touchdown. Caught for the touchdown.

                Well, maybe . . .

this year we'll get a highlight clip that we can torment you guys with for 12 months!

Like this one, which Ronnie Jenkins will never forget:

                We need another one.

                    That was the doink game.

More painful than the Harline game, IMO.

You've proved my point. We need better highlight vids. Like this one, which is bound to gladden any Ute fan's heart:

Ah, happiness. Perhaps it will be repeated this Saturday. I will be there in Rice-Eccles Stadium, freezing my buns off and hoping to go home happy.

BYU had the wrong uniforms then. It doesn't count unless you beat BYU in the white helmets.

Are these helmets white enough for you?
