  • Lawyer. Warrior.

There's a couple billboard signs on my drive home that make me laugh and this is one of them:

I believe most of the lawyers on this board are good guys and good lawyers but lawyers in general have a bad rep and I tend to think it's due to people like Chad Pinkerton.

I'm pretty annoyed with the ones advertising on the cable TV channels. Dealing with mesothelioma must be a goldmine because there are a bunch of lawyers fishing for new clients there. And that Sokolove guy might have been the first there, but now has at least half a dozen other things he's trying to collect money on.

I suggest reading King of Torts by John Grisham for a better understanding of how the system works. Actually he's written several books on the subject of Tort law looking at it from both sides. Makes you think, anyway.

OMFG. He's a personal injury specialist, too... nothing wrong with that, but really? Warrior? I can see if you're a criminal defense guy or something, but wow.

That last volley of correspondence to State Farm was very valiant and heroic. What a warrior.

I love the Troy Walker "Bulldog" billboard at Point of the Mountain in Utah. Very egotistical. But, I know the name Troy Walker now, and I wouldn't have otherwise.

I am defending a client in case where the plaintiff's attorney is out of Dallas Texas. His name is "Red Dog" Jones. Seriously, that is what he goes by; I have no clue what his real first name is. I could understand this among friends, but as a professional moniker?
