Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

This is why its so hard to bench him. Like Drum said, just good enough. He looked unreal on that drive. As a coach you think if I can just get that out of him all the time he can be really special.

The problem is nobody has been able to do that yet. Those two throws to Davis were sick.

Yeah, and his numbers tonight have been decent...18/28 255, 2TD, INT and Fumble. Problem is, the INT and fumble were at such criticle moments.

This reminds me a lot of the Redskins the last few years with Jason Campbell. Occasionally, he would make enough plays to counterbalance the massive mistakes he made, but by then, the D was so gassed from being on the field so long that they could't stop the other team. Looks like that may be the case tonight.

By the way now I know why Andy Reid was so high on Kolb. He looks good. He has made some great throws to Celek tonight that Celek has not been able to haul in.

Who do you start once Vick comes back if Kolb wins 'em a couple?

They always say you can not lose your job to injury but Kolb did. So I am thinking Vick might as well. However I think Vick is more dynamic and the Philly O-line has not been great once again so you may be better off with Vick.

I hope they start Vick just because he is entertaining to watch. Trade Kolb to SF.

                Alex does it again.

Why would Hobbs take a knee like that on the kickoff? Makes no sense field position may end up being very important in this game.

The missed FG before the half really really hurts now.

What is McCoy slidingfor??? I'll take it.

I think he thought he had enough for the first down. Also with Hobbs taking that knee I told you field position would be big.

Wow Alex has a chance to totally redeem himself here.

Hard to put that on Alex there. He was drilled right as he threw the ball.

Way to block Anthony Davis. Good gosh you expect better than that out of a 1st round pick.

You cannot win games turning the ball over five times.

Seriously, FIVE turnovers. Five. 3 fumbles, 2 INTs and a missed FG before half. Talent is there. Execution is not.

The season over. I'm not sure what they do at this point. I guess try and develop some of their young talent.

I'm really surprised the D gave up 125 on the ground to a banged up Eagles team. Shocked, in fact. But they doubled PW a lot.

It sucks that the O-line has so many first round picks, but cannot make a play when needed - pass blocking or on the run. Gore was 18 for 52. That's never going to work.

That's it for AS as a Niner. He'll play out the season, I guess. Though it will only be as a tryout to move as a backup somewhere.

On AS: I was impressed AS told Sing to keep him it. It looked like Davis and Smith were telling him to let them open the game up. It took some balls to go back out there and drive it for two TDs – and silence his *own* crowd. It would have been an all-timer, if they could have pulled it out. As we've seen against the Saints, Falcons and now the Eagles, it's just not going to happen this season.

                              oh well.

                                So did Joe Montana.
