  • Hello, my name is...

    How did you find CUF?
I have been a long time frequenter of Utefans, and noticed that some of the better posters (LAUte, Senoritis, Seattleute, PaloAltoCoug, and others) were not posting as often. Someone mentioned that they were spending time here so I came to check it out.

What do you like about CUF?
Since Football has not started yet I really like the "Foyer" threads. I like how Utes and Cougars can come together in one place with minimal trolls. It is sort of like a minature Millenium.

What don't I like about CUF?
I have a hard time following who is commenting to whose comment because of the thread display (I am use to Utefans) but I am sure I will catch on.

How did you choose your moniker?
That one is pretty self explanatory (my name + Ute = Sullyute)

What do you do (other than read CUF)?
Chase my kids around and spend my weekends fixing up our beater house.

How many States have you lived in?
Three: UT, NV, WY (As a teenager,
I spent a summer moving sprinkler pipe on a farm in WY)

    What are your sports loyalties?
Utah Utes! (I have sworn off all pro-sports)

What's your standing in the church?
Active, although I just finished Solemn Covenant and am now starting Rough Stone Rolling, so I am playing it by ear...

Do you pee in the sink?
On my mission, my companion was using the shower and locked the door to the bathroom. I needed to go really bad and couldn't go outside because of where we lived so all I had left was the kitchen sink...

When your kids get older, will you do drugs with them in order to teach them a responsible approach to drugs?
This reminds me of an old Eighties or early Nineties drug commercial where a father catches his son doing drugs and asks him where he learned it. The kids yells out, "From you, Dad! I learned it from watching you!" So I guess the answer would be No.

Are you looking forward to Wuap's welcome question and what do you think it will be?
I guess, probably about the negative trend in banana futures or whether I believe there is a body mass index criteria to get into heaven.

Why are you so creepy? How long have you been lurking?
I have been lurking for a few weeks so I guess that makes me pretty creepy. I will try and keep my creepiness to acceptable levels... for now.

You might want to try the threaded display mode. See the link on the upper right side.

            Welcome, Welcome

I may be small, but I'm slow.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

Welcome! Sorry to hear you are not from Texas.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I will plead the 5th on this one. I don't know if it is worse being one in general or not being one on this board?
