Good question. My blinking was that Amazon is concerned about censorship. They're a business, not the government.

I did understand the blinking, but didn't do a very good job at communicating that. My blinking was why Amazon would be hesitant to pull that book.

I'm guessing people blindly accept that and Amazon continues to laugh all the way to the bank (really though? Is this book really flying off the shelves? Maybe Amazon has a deal w. the publisher? idk)

Wow! That is awesome. I am not going to ask what you were looking for when you found that, but hopefully you were using one hand on the mouse and the other above the desktop!

I helped my mom move from Atlanta to Asheville, NC this week. I've been rewiring all of the outlets in the house because they were old and nasty, upside, broken, and generally disgusting on freshly painted walls. So, I open up one of them, pull it out, and blink, blink, blink, wtf? The <redacting> renters had put in a new outlet, and not wanting to spend any extra money, they had pulled power from the old box I was changing to the new one in the adjoining room by using a piece of an ORANGE EXTENSION CORD instead of a piece of Romex. I actually sat there and blinked for a few seconds trying to figure out what I was looking at.

I once ran an extra outlet in an apartment without my landlord's permission. Our counter space was extremely limited, but we had a huge walk-in pantry. I ran an extra outlet into the pantry so we could put our microwave on a shelf in there. I purchased all the proper supplies, ran the wire, cut in the new box, and tied into the outlet on the other side of the same wall. All in all it was a very professional job, and looked like it had been there from the start, IMO.

I bet it was up to code and looked good. My orange extension cord is getting fixed by a pro. I don't feel like getting into the crawlspace.

I was just watching Go, Diego, Go with the little girl who lives where IÂŽm staying in Costa Rica. Here, they use the show to teach kids English. Just like on the American version, when one of the animals eats something (always fruit, even jaguars), they say "Delicious" in English. However, it wasnÂŽt like our version where we get a suddenly flawless Spanish "delicioso" out of Izzy the Iguana. No, this sounded like, "Dee-LEE-she-us."

                    What the hell?

That reminds me of ordering food in Guatemala from McDonalds for the first time. It bugged me that they just left certain menu items in English and that in order to be understood you had to pronounce the item in its pseudo English form and with a thick spanish accent e.g. quiero un mil-SHAY.

Apparently, they are showing these in the theater before the new Harry Potter movie.

I especially appreciate using their hands to look like a talking vagina. Even more using your hand to simulate a vagina strikes me as a decidedly masculine way of recreating the sheath.

Ny niece is starting 6th grade at Lava Ridge School in Santa Clara, UT. She got her course schedule today, and my wife saw it. She has math, language arts, and her 7th period course just says, "Turning Japanese."

                            More investigations are needed.
