Owa drops SC and UCLA. Down to Nebraska and Oregon with some reports saying Nebraska is the lean.
That is really surprising. I still think he winds up at Oregon.
Oregon just got Lowe to stop howling for Sark and come to Eugene. Most are saying that Lowe and Owa are tight and this is going to push Owa over the Oregon fence right into the middle of the frat room. This fills a huge need for the Ducks, I hope it is true.
That which is worth doing is worth doing for money.
What is the local word on Seantrel? Are the Luckeyes going to wrap that kid up or is he coming out to HH? I have read some comments that Minnesota might swoop in and keep him in state, but that just seems completely unrealistic. Coincidentally, SC has a home and home with Minnesota starting this next season.
PS Against my better judgment, I am ready to buy into the myth of Pryor. I figure that after a couple of years starting, he is now ready to run roughshod through the Big 1T1en.
His top 6 did not include Tenn. So I would be very surprised if he signed with USC now that they have Kiffin. I think Ohio State should be able to lock him up.. With the OL in needs of new starters he could easily come in and start and I think that would be appealing to him..
We'll see what happens. His visit "Official" visit was back in Sept. In recruiting time, that is a long time.. But I am sure Tressell is in constant contact with him..
A source close to Latwan Anderson has confirmed that the highly touted safety from Ohio will be taking an official visit to USC this weekend.
The source confirmed that Anderson has described the program as his "dream school" and that he is very likely to commit to the Trojans following this official visit. Anderson, who stands at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, also holds offers from Florida, Michigan and Ohio State, among other national programs.
The obvious problem here is wondering how you can trust the word of a kid that has already committed once to another school, on national television no less.
Keanon Lowe is Jaime Hills nephew, if Jaime cant bring in his nephew who can he bring in?
BYU has 4 of the Californias top 100.
Was Lowe ever on SC's radar? I don't recall hearing about him. Not saying he isn't an excellent get....I think it is probably more of a self-realization that SC had no shot to land him. Interesting that he is a Washington de-co, esp in light of UW handing out 30 offers. I wonder if that strategy works against a school in the long run.
One thing Bronco needs to do more....aggressively mine California. 4 of the Top 100 is good, but on the heels of 4 straight 10-win seasons, BYU could do better.
On an SC note, Giovanni DiPaolo decided to not go up to Oregon after all and at the end of this weekend, reconfirmed his commitment to SC. Big news.
Ed O confirmed his in-home with Seantrel last week, while Kiff has his in-home tomorrow night. That mught be a huge visit.
Also, anyone know anything about Juco DT named Deon Goggins? He is allegedly visiting campus this weekend with the all-star group but it was a last-second addition.

Would you mind making notations on the guys who are deciding between USC and the Tufts University Jumbos? I don't have a lot of time to keep up on recruiting but I know that a lot of the time it comes down to a choice between these two schools and it might make my research a bit easier. TIA!

SteelBlue, if it makes your research any easier, to my knowledge, none of the aforementioned recruits are considering Tufts University.
However, a lot can happen between now and LOI day and it is very possible that some of these guys have a change of heart, signing with the Jumbos at the last minute. This strategy is commonly employed by schools like Utah.
Seastrunk picks the Zeros. That is a big get for the Ducks, assuming that rumors of his being on the take are unfounded. He and LMJ will be a potent combo.
Goes without saying, but this also puts a big wrinkle in the Tufts Jumbo's backfield next year. I think they were really counting on Seastrunk to have a change of heart at the last second.
