Being a decent human and dominating in golf are not mutually exclusive propositions. And I don't believe firing his caddy is going to have a great negative effect on Tiger's future golf domination.

His domination was largely psychological and due in part to the fact that he believed himself invincible. He doesn't believe that anymore.

I have a theory that alpha males and uber achievers are similar this way. At least that's how I've justified all the things I do.

          He's also got bad knees.

Agreed. Tiger at the top of his game was unbeatable, but he wasn't at the top of his game until Williams was carrying his bag. This move by Tiger tells me that he undervalues what Williams did for him on the golf course.

Tiger drops out of the top 20..his lowest ranking in almost 15 years

              http://msn.foxsports.com/golf/story/...op-20-rankings

Are people here still rooting for this guy, rooting against him, or simply don't care about him anymore?

I loved watching him dominate but now I'm not at all bummed about his downfall. I'm definitely not indifferent as I still follow his news.

Tiger's deal with EA runs out next year, doesn't it? Have they already announced a new deal beyond 2012?

I am not a Tiger fan (though I like him more than my wife), but I would like to see him get back in the top 3. At this point, golf is more exciting when Tiger is around.

I would prefer for him to not break Jack's major record, and I think the chances of him doing it are pretty small right now.

The World Golf Rankings are a joke anyway. Look at the #1 guy right now. Luke Donald? Seriously? He's a fine golfer. But he's never won a major. In ten years he's won 10 events and only 3 came on the PGA tour. And he's the #1 player in the world?

I was just about to post something like this. Well, I was going to ask what Luke Donald has done and how I might have missed it, but the sentiment is the same.

I'm definitely rooting for him to at least be a serious contender in tournaments. Tournaments for me are infinitely more entertaining when "Tiger vs. the field" is in play on Sundays.

I only caught the back 9 but Tiger looked pretty good today. That 3 wood sliced out of the rough was sweet. And his putter was on point. And if there ever was any doubt, he's still the biggest draw based on gallery and crowd reaction.

Adam Scott gave Tiger a big eff you today when he fired that 62. You know he wanted it bad for Stevie.

                                Thank you, Guy Fieri.
