I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

I don't fault Collie. I'd do the same thing.

Hans Olson was just talking about this and he made a great point for Collie to consider:
If he chooses to go pro, he'll be in for the biggest shock of his life. He'll go from being the best college receiver in the nation to an absolute nobody who will have the fight of his life to make a roster. He'll be the guy who has to carry the veterans pads. He'll be the guy who gets fined for every dropped pass in practice. He'll be the guy who gets tied up and thrown in the cold pool. He'll be nothing and like it.
Does he really want to go through that?"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

I just thought it was an interesting point that Olson had made - going from the best to a nobody. Despite the $$, it can still be a tough pill to learn to swallow."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill
