Funny, I had a conversation yesterday with a friend who told me Tom Verlaine was somehow involved with a super group with members of Sonic youth and Wilco. I forget their name. He told me to check it out but I'm a little suspect of how good it could be.

Started thinking about my best of list for the first time today while out walking. I realized that there is a flat out ton of stuff I have listened to this year from bands that have been around a while whose current album doesn't necessarily represent their best or most creative effort, but is nevertheless enjoyable.
