You have conflated my consideration for his artwork with my agreement of the narrative content of his work. I have not made a statement about whether or not I agree with him. I have pointed out that his past works could arguably be interpreted as offering a valid critique of President Obama and his administration's policies. I backed up that interpretation by linking to articles that point out that Obama's constitutional record was considered alarming, not just to McNauton, but to many others.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post
Per my subjective opinion on the subject of art, in this case the paintings of McNaughton, I do not find his earlier works purposefully misleading, therefore I do not consider them propaganda.
