So art depicting a US president trampling the constitution is not propaganda? Because you agree with the message? Uh ... OK.
Are you saying that it cannot reasonably be argued that Obama's record was alarming, because it was alarming not just to McNaugton but to writers for Forbes and The Atlantic respectively.

I am saying that just because you agree with something (or googled a couple of articles that confirm your bias), doesn't mean it is not propaganda.

You have conflated my consideration for his artwork with my agreement of the narrative content of his work. I have not made a statement about whether or not I agree with him. I have pointed out that his past works could arguably be interpreted as offering a valid critique of President Obama and his administration's policies. I backed up that interpretation by linking to articles that point out that Obama's constitutional record was considered alarming, not just to McNauton, but to many others.
Per my subjective opinion on the subject of art, in this case the paintings of McNaughton, I do not find his earlier works purposefully misleading, therefore I do not consider them propaganda. In contrast, in my opinion, his current work has crossed a line and they now strike me as purposeful in their intent to mislead, and thus I consider him a propagandist.
Not in the sense that it is overtly misleading, because it is not. Obama operated under a mandate, which one can reasonably argue, aimed to fundamentally change the constitution.
"I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"
Obama says "America," which McNaugton equates with "the Constitution" in his painting ... ain't that far of a leap to make. There was a lot of hysteria born of that particular Obama speech.

Oh brother. President Obama was all talk, no walk. He fundamentally transformed nothing.

For those who have read his detailed descriptions, is that Ben Carson depicted at the front, starboard side of the boat? Why is he paddling backwards, against all the other paddlers? McNaughton's craft is suffering under the weight of his untenable ideology.
